Marianne Simonin is the founder of Ayur-Sadhana. 'Ayur' means Life, and 'Sadhana' means dedicated regular practice that helps you focus towards a goal. In this context it reminds us that life is the platform that will assist our expansion, growth and learning. When paying attention to every moment and situation we become aware that the way we live can take us either out of balance, or towards our inner center and well-being. Ayurveda is the ancient medical system from India; this Science of Life helps us keep our body and mind in a state of health and equilibrium according to our innate constitution.
Marianne offers Ayurvedic & Holistic treatments, Yoga and Meditation, and Art. Ayurveda uses holistic and herbal treatments to help us regain our balance and increase longevity. Yoga and meditation encourage our Prana (vital force) to flow freely for increased vitality and immunity. Arts bring melody and colour to the different rhythms of our life, uplifting the spirit as well as communicating with others. Marianne encourages people to discover their own unique qualities, exploring their potentials and help them to re-align with Nature. She uses different techniques, from massage to visualization, workshops and retreats, individual consultation and on-line guidance.
She holds a Master degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from Middlesex University (M.CM Ayur), and did a three months internship at two Ayurvedic Teaching hospitals in India (Karnataka) SDM Hassan and KLE Belgaum. Over the 4 years, her full time integrated studies covered diagnostic skills, pathology and physiology from western and ayurvedic perspectives, with more than 1,000 hours of clinical experience in panchakarma, herbal preparations and pharmacology. Marianne is also a qualified yoga teacher since 1991 (BWY) and a massage therapist since 1993 (M.T.I). She practices at the Life Centre in Notting Hill Gate, W8, in NW2 London and in Holborn, London WC1.

“Marianne not only gives a sublime massage but also incorporates her ‘reading’ of my body, giving invaluable feedback as to what is happening on an energetic level. I have been having massages with her for the last 15 years and she has completely spoilt me for going to anyone else. I highly recommend her work”. Angela P. London SW6.
